ENTRY · OUR STORY

How Bequesta came to be

Bequesta was founded in Bangkok by a small group of people who had each, at different points, been through the experience of helping an aging parent or a suddenly unwell family member navigate their affairs — and found that the hardest part was not the paperwork itself, but the conversations that needed to happen before anyone could pick up a pen.

The founders noticed a gap. Legal professionals could assist once decisions had been made. Financial advisers could act once assets were understood. But who helped families get to that point? Who helped them sit down together, talk openly about wishes and memories, list what existed and where it was kept?

Bequesta was created to fill that space — not by offering advice in regulated areas, but by providing the structure, the facilitation and the practical tools that families need to organize information for themselves.

We are based in Lumphini, Bangkok, and work with families across the city. Our sessions are offered in English, and our approach is always patient, calm and entirely without pressure.

ENTRY · OUR VALUES

What guides us

Sensitivity before efficiency

These are personal subjects. We move at the pace a family is comfortable with and never push towards conclusions.

Information, not instruction

Our role is to organize and clarify — not to tell families what to do. Decisions remain entirely with the people involved.

Discretion as a foundation

What families share with us stays with us. Privacy is not a feature — it is the bedrock of every session we run.

Practical above all

We focus on tangible outcomes — a clear inventory, a structured conversation summary, a searchable archive of important papers.

STANDARDS · HOW WE WORK

Our working principles

The following principles shape every session, every document and every interaction we have with families.

Strict data privacy

All personal information is handled in accordance with Thai data protection requirements. No client data is shared, sold or retained beyond what is necessary to complete the service.

Secure document handling

Original documents are always returned intact. Digital copies are delivered via encrypted channels. No files are stored on our systems beyond the delivery date.

Facilitation-only approach

We do not advise, direct or recommend courses of action. Our facilitators are trained to guide discussion, record what is shared and leave decisions entirely with the family.

Reliable turnaround

We commit to clear timelines for every service and communicate proactively if anything changes. You will always know where your records stand in our process.

Professional work environment

Our Lumphini office provides a calm, professional setting for in-person sessions. In-home visits follow clear protocols to respect the family's space and comfort.

Clear scope of service

We are transparent about what our services do and do not include before any booking is confirmed. Families know exactly what they are engaging and what to expect at each step.

CATALOGUE · CONTEXT & EXPERTISE

Estate organization and family records in Bangkok

Many Bangkok families — both Thai and expatriate — find that the practical side of estate organization sits in an overlooked space. Legal professionals focus on wills and instruments. Financial advisers manage assets. But the material reality of family life — the filing cabinets full of papers, the belongings accumulated across decades, the wishes and memories held only in someone's head — rarely gets the focused attention it deserves until a moment of crisis forces the issue.

Bequesta works in that space. Our legacy conversation facilitation sessions give families a structured opportunity to talk — with a trained facilitator present — about what matters to them, what they own and what they would like the people around them to know. These are conversations that most families intend to have but rarely do, because no one knows how to start them.

Our estate inventory workshops take a practical, room-by-room approach to listing and documenting personal belongings. Families leave with a clear, organized record of what exists and where it is kept. This information has practical value long before it is ever needed in difficult circumstances — it supports household decisions, insurance, and personal planning.

Our personal records digitization service addresses the universal problem of important papers scattered across drawers, folders and boxes. We scan, sort and organize family documents into a clear, labeled archive that can be accessed easily and passed on without confusion. Originals are always returned.

Working across Lumphini and the wider Bangkok metropolitan area, Bequesta serves families from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds. Our sessions are conducted in English and can be adapted to the specific needs of your family. We work by appointment, move at the pace that suits you and carry no expectations about what outcomes a session should reach.
